R66T x AACC Partnership

Auld Alliance Cricket Coaching aims to inspire and develop talented cricketing individuals from grassroots to the top level through a wide range of coaching services, from 1-2-1 coaching to their elite academy program. 

 

The Affiliate Academy Partnership will see the R66T Academy provide high quality coach education, training support, equipment and playing opportunities to Auld Alliance Cricket Coaching and its members across the UK and in Europe. 

 

George Bartlett, R66T Academy Operations Manager, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Auld Alliance Cricket Coaching, this is an exciting opportunity for both organisations to develop and grow the game in the UK and Europe. 

 

“Auld Alliance Cricket’s core values sit very similarly with the R66T Academy’s, with the focus on development of the human as well as the cricketer being right at the forefront of the partnership.” 

 

The Affiliate Academy Partnership will begin with the first of four Coach Education Workshops in August 2024, before R66T Academy High Performance Director Shaun Seigert assists with the development of a co-ordinated training support programme, starting in September. 

 

This will run throughout the length of the Affiliate Academy Partnership, allowing Auld Alliance access to high quality, high performance coaching and training plans. The partnership will also see Auld Alliance using R66T Academy coaching aids in all their centres throughout the UK and Europe and offer the opportunity for Auld Alliance members to play in R66T Academy competitions both nationally and globally. 

 

In addition, AACC will have select access to the Qualifi Level 3 Diploma in the Principles of Cricket Coaching and will also receive a discount for entry onto the R66T Academy High Performance Program in Adelaide, Australia.
