Festival Of Cricket:

Format and Features

Based on the latest professional cricket format The Hundred, The R66T Academy Festival of Cricket has been designed with your U13 players in mind.

· Shorter, faster games (innings ideally completed within 65 minutes)

· High energy and enthusiasm levels

· Strategic play encouraged

· 2 points for a Win, 0 for a Loss and 1 for a draw/no result – taken directly from the pro game format

Whats included? 2 nights at your selected venue Full board – starting with dinner on Day 1 and lunch on Day 3 A full itinerary to include coaching sessions both in and outside the classroom covering all aspects of batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, match preparation and psychology Use of the venues first class cricket training facilities for all scheduled training sessions with R66T Academy coaching staff 3 x matches vs other touring sides Supervisory FREE places for the Sports Trip Organisers Travel insurance including COVID cover

Millfield has three crickets grounds; the Main Ground, Junior Ground and Butleigh Ground, making this venue the ideal location for a cricket residential camp.

The school has outstanding sports and outdoor facilities, which can provide superb venues for numerous activities such as athletics, golf, rugby, hockey, swimming, and cricket making it a great location for our festival.
