The R66T Academy are delighted to announce a new partnership with Kings Camps
The partnership will see R66T Academy Coaches support and actively deliver softball cricket sessions on selected Kings Camps this summer. The camps will take place across various locations in the UK at Kings Camps venues.
The Kings Camps vision is to get children active, having fun and learning together which is in-keeping with The R66T Academy’s mission to provide more opportunities for everyone, everywhere to play and enjoy cricket.
The Camps will take place on selected dates during this summer with the R66T Academy coaches delivering specific cricket sessions with a focus on developing children’s Problem Solving, Teamwork, Creativity, Resilience and Leadership skills.

Chris Millard, Managing Director of the R66T Academy commented on the partnership, “I’m thrilled to announce this partnership with Kings Camps. It’s a great fit for our not-for-profit organisations, both local to Sheffield, that focus on increasing the opportunities for children to be active and enjoy playing cricket. We’re really looking forward to delivering the camps this summer and watching our partnership blossom.”
Kings CEO Richard Holmes said “I’m thrilled with the partnership with R66T Academy, which will enable a new cricket-programme for boys and girls between 7 – 11. The programme will have some really exciting features that have been inspired by Billy and Joe Root. I’m sure both players will continue to be an inspiration to young cricketers”.

FIND THE R66T ACADEMY PROGRAMME NEAR YOU
The R66T Academy programme runs in the summer holidays, in their own exclusive space, wherever possible outdoors (weather permitting!). Those attending The R66T Academy at Kings Camps will still enjoying the atmosphere of our Multi-Activity camps, whilst focusing on their cricket skills.
The R66T Academy is a morning programme, Monday – Friday at selected venues and dates. Registration is from 9.15am, for a 9.30am start.
