The R66T Academy are delighted to announce some exciting changes to the 2-day Sheffield Camp. The camp takes place on Thursday 1st June, with a day of training at S20TheBoundary. On Friday 2nd June the camp will continue at nearby Killamarsh CC for a day of match play and outdoor training.
On Thursday the camp will focus on batting, bowling and fielding skills in the exceptional indoor facility at S20 The Boundary. The R66T Academy coaches will focus on developing and improving player’s techniques which can then be applied to match play. On Friday, the coaches will create lots of different match scenarios and challenge players tactically. Additionally, the coaches will add some depth to players cricket knowledge by giving them the opportunity to both score and umpire.

To make the most of the facilities now available, the camp will be open to girls aged 11-14 years old and boys aged 10-13 years old. This camp will be an ideal platform from which players can build on to improve their performances for the rest of the season. The camp is aimed at ambitious hardball cricket enthusiasts who are either on current county pathways schemes, or who are working towards selection for these.

Registration takes place at 9.30am on Thursday 1st June at S20 The Boundary and at 9.30am at Killamarsh CC on Friday 2nd June. If the weather forecast is poor for Friday 2nd June we will make an early call and revert to S20 The Boundary so that no coaching time is lost.
