England Men return to Test action on Thursday 25th January - with Brendon McCullum's side taking on India in a five-match series, looking to achieve their first series victory over their opponents since the 2-1 triumph in 2012/13.  

 

Since McCullum took over as coach of the Test team in 2022, England are yet to lose a Test series at home or away - winning four and drawing three. 

 

The form of Joe Root will be crucial if the Three Lions are to succeed against Rohit Sharma's men. The 33-year-old, who needs just 10 runs to become the leading run scorer in England vs India Test matches, will be keen to start the calendar year with a memorable victory.
