World's First R66T Cricket Academy in the USA

The R66T Academy is delighted to announce a new game-changing partnership with US-based sports facility, Olympic Indoor Sports.
Our partnership will see the launch of the first-ever Olympic R66T Academy (Maryland, USA), which will provide players with expert coaching, based upon the principles of our High Performance Program in Adelaide, alongside training in the state-of-the-art facilities at Olympic Indoor Sports.
The Academy will be based in Columbia, Baltimore, Maryland with players training throughout the week and matches arranged on weekends. The Academy is set to launch on 1st November and we welcome applications from players in and around the Maryland area who wish to join the Academy this season.
It will be open to players aged six to 19, and we will have U11, U13, U15, U17 and U19 teams representing the Academy in competitive matches. There will be up to two games played on weekends during the summer season (April 15 - October 15).
Olympic Indoor Sports is a high-performance facility that specialises in cricket, baseball and softball. They help young athletes gain confidence and improve by providing a comprehensive space for rising stars to achieve their athletic aspirations.
Shaun Seigert, High Performance Director, has been running our High Performance Program for more than 17 years and has developed many high-level players - including Joe Root - who have graduated from the program and since gone on to play First-Class and International cricket.
Training will focus on developing players’ skills, physicality, tactical understanding and mental strength, with the ultimate goal of improving their all-round ability on the pitch. Moreover, we are also focused on developing players' character and helping them flourish away from the pitch.
All aspects of the game - batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping - will be covered in-depth during the program, and players will work on their strength and conditioning in high-quality facilities. Our coach(es) will also ensure players are actively looking to improve their game awareness and understanding of the game.

The facility covers 20,000 square foot with 14 batting cages, making this an extensive space for players to train and to host the R66T Cricket Academy."
